Wayne Simmonds Most Painful Goal Ever

Simmonds has had a lot of firsts with the Flyers this year. He tallied his 26th goal yesterday, a career high for him.

However, it was the way he scored which was a first.

With 3 minutes passed in the 2nd period, Brayden Schenn shot a quick wrister towards the Ottawa net. The puck went in the net, but not from Schenn.

It was off Wayne Simmonds face. 

In the video below, you can see it deflect right off his nose and into the net.

But Simmonds being the total badass that he is, he went to the lockeroom, got 7 stitches above his nose, and then played the rest of the game.

During the second intermission, Simmonds had an interview with CBC. Well, the video speaks for itself.
