The Eagles have released the jersey numbers for their 2012 rookie class.
They are the following:
DT Fletcher Cox- #91
LB Mychal Kendricks- #95
QB Nick Foles- #9
CB Brandon Boykin- #22
OT Dennis Kelly- #67
WR Marvin McNutt- #83
RB Bryce Brown- #34
RBI Chris Polk- #32
Obviously jersey numbers are no big deal, but 95 on a Linebacker? It's like dressing a dog. Weird.
Brandon Boykin inherits Asante Samuel's 22, and the Eagles try and erase the painful memory of Vince Young and Ronnie Brown by giving their former numbers to Foles and Bryce Brown.
