Placido Polanco Injures Finger

Polanco left Saturday's game against the Blue Jays at Bright House Field after jamming his left ring finger while diving back to first base in the first inning of a 4-3 victory.
Polanco left the stadium to go have X-Rays on that finger.
Charlie Manuel was quoted as saying "He said his knuckle kind of got out of joint. It kind of pooped up. He said he pushed it back down."
With Howard still recovering from his Achilles rupture, and Chase Utley's inability to take the field, the Phillies infield is left depleted.
It was reported earlier in the week that the Phillies are shopping for an infielder. Depending on the severity of Polanco's injury, the Phillies may pursue that more aggressively.

(UPDATE): ESPN's Buster Olney reports Polanco is only expected to miss a few days with a sprain.
