Freddie Mitchell In Jail

Freddie Mitchell has been more prominent in the news after his playing career than while he was with the Eagles.


According to the Orlando Sentinel, FredEx is being held in jail for not paying child support. He had a warrant out for his arrest from Indiana. 


Out of all people from the 2004 Super Bowl team, I would have thought former WR Todd Pinkston. The charges? Robbery of $4 million from the Eagles. With the way he played, you would have thought he was born with no hands.


However, it is Mr. 4th and 26 who finds himself in trouble with the law, and it is not his first time. In 2009, his Florida barbecue restaurant was investigated by authorities after 7 pounds of weed were delivered there. In 2009, he was arrested in Philadelphia for not paying child support.


Mitchell turned himself into authorities earlier this month after being indicted on Federal Tax charges.


Poor Freddie. I hope he, and his hands, can stay out of trouble.
