Colts Plan To Release Manning

In a move that shocked absolutely nobody, the Colts are planning to part ways with Peyton Manning, their quarterback of 13 years.

Manning was due a $28 million roster bonus Thursday, and the Colts knew they had to decide quickly what they wanted to do. An official announcement of Manning's release will come Wednesday. 

The NFL league season starts next Tuesday, and Manning will be free to sign with any team.
