Juan Pierre Makes Roster

The Phillies have purchased the contract of OF Juan Pierre (according to ESPN's Jayson Stark), meaning he will make the team's 40 man roster.

Pierre, 34, signed a minor league contract with the Phillies on January 27th. In 23 games this Spring, Pierre hit .313 with 2 RBI's. 

The 12 year vet will join the likes of Shane Victorino, Hunter Pence, John Mayberry Jr., and Laynce Nix as the Phillies outfielders.
